Instead of a birthday party, her brother and sisters will be burying the most part of her ashes in North Dakota, not too far from the family farm. It's what she wanted.

September birthdays
Me, and my aunt Carol. She would have been 68 this year on Friday the 13th. A full moon, too. She would have appreciated that.

5 years later...Planning a trip to Ellendale this September
ReplyDeleteJust checked in to the facebook and see that it was aunt Amy's birthday yesterday. Miss her too, she just passed away this past October and one reason we're headed up that way, for a family day at the Ellendale cemetery
